Sean Crook has helped lead Neolink to become one of the fastest growing companies in Australia, finishing #10 on the Smart50 Awards for 2021.
Sean and his co-founder Christopher Makhoul set out to create a business that took the best from both the digital and traditional sides of the forwarding industry. Neolink has seen tremendous organic customer growth since its inception in 2017, and has accelerated since the pandemic. Since the beginning of 2020; Neolink has onboarded more than one hundred and fifty additional customers and at the same time has retained over 95% of their customer base since their inception.
An entrepreneur at heart, Julian has successfully founded and led multiple businesses in industries ranging from financial services to medical technology. After hearing about the need for innovation in the freight forwarding industry from his brother Juan, they decided to partner up to develop a solution that allows freight forwarders to quickly and effectively modernize their shippers’ customer experience. Now, as CEO of Logixboard, Julian remains dedicated to helping freight forwarders compete in an evolving market by understanding and capitalizing on new technologies.
Prior to founding OLC, Shane worked in the International Freight Forwarding and Logistics arena’s for over 20 years. His experience includes:
- Senior roles within Freight forwarding and Domestic Logistics service providers providing FCL, LCL, Air, 3PL and Transport services.
- Roles involving commodities such as FMCG, Dangerous goods and Cool Chain products
- Logistics roles for market leading importers supplying some of the world’s best known foodservice brands, hotels and venues and multinational chemical companies.
As an expert in Workflow & PAVE, Shane has also worked for WiseTech Global (Formerly CargoWise, a world leader in Supply Chain software).
